Somewhere over Tennessee May08 '03
Note we’re still in Central Standard Time.
Well, I’m writing this entry on the plane. We are cruising at a comfortable altitute, but you wouldn’t notice from all the turbulence. It is very bumpy. We go through periods of steadiness, then it gets bumpy like crazy.
In case you’re all wondering, I’m writing on Shell’s Mac laptop, which is incredibly nice. Shell just took some photos of the horizon outside our window. It’s really cloudy up here in the... well... the clouds. This laptop has given me the chance to do some web work that I don’t normally get the chance to do, due to my busy lifestyle. It’s so nice to get away from it all.
I am working on reformatting the SALF site to become more CSS oriented. It has numerous benefits, which I won’t go into right now. Let’s just focus on the subtle beauty of being on this plane right now. I like it.
My idea is simply to not stop writing, even though I’m going away. I still have to keep writing. Since I have this great laptop, I can simply transfer my saved entries to MY Mac, and then simply upload to my site. Great idea, eh? You know I can’t be away from my computer for more than five hours. It’s pathetic, I know.
We are just chilling on the plane. I love it. I am drinking an Amstel Light, cuz, well.... I can. And after this week, I deserve one. The stewardess guy actually just gave me another one, and I didn’t even ask for it. He didn’t charge me either. I think it was complimentary.
I am going to get back to some leisure activities, including bugging Michelle. She is fun to be with. There’s no one else I’d rather be on this trip with. She is just like me.
Am going to go. I will write again soon! We should be landing in Orlando in about an hour.
