There’s my ugly mug for ya. Should I have zoomed in closer next time? Maybe you’d like to see nose hairs?
We were waiting for the horses, and Shell decided to make a "Matt face." When I’m holding in a sneeze, I push my upper lips to my nose, and it’s certainly something I don’t do on job interviews!
A great picture. Overlooking the Mississippi river, this fence kept us from accidently falling and rolling the 900 feet down into the river. This picture looks better large.
Another beautiful shot of the Mississippi. You can tell how high up we were on the mountain. Look at the depth. Amazing.
Galena’s oldest house. Built in 1826. For the life of me, I can’t recall what I was doing in those days...
Ulysses S. Grant’s home. Yes, his real name was not Ulysses, but since his middle name started with an "S," his initials became U.S. Grant. How patriotic. It was neat to see his house, though. Unfortunately, he was out somewhere and we didn’t get to meet him.
A nice shot of downtown Galena. Stores and shops. If that doesn’t excite you, this is definitely not the place for you.

Some bozo was standing in front of this sign as Michelle snapped a picture of it. What a moron.
The place we stayed at was more of a ski place, and since it was not quite winter when we visited, this scene doesn’t look quite right. But that was one of the ski slopes, which will soon be covered in white.
