iCal and .Mac Aug08 '04
I use iCal to manage my life.
One of the many perks of being a .Mac member is the ability to publish and share your "iCal calendars" online. When I change my calendars on my local computer, it immediately makes the change on the web, too.
And for further accessibility – I can then "subscribe" to my calendars from any Mac in the world, and instantly have all my current calendar information on whatever local Mac I am currently using.
This will come in handy very soon, because I am going to Florida on Friday morning, for a week, and I want to keep my calendar details "up to date," and be able to make changes while away. This is a cinch with .Mac (pronounced "DOT Mac"). And, of course, access to a Powerbook:
One of my numerous calendars is for Cubs games. Anyone in the world can view details from my "Cubs" calendar.
I also have many personal calendars, which I can’t share, for the sake of privacy. But you get the idea.
And like I said... Whenever I make changes locally (whatever Mac I am using), it will also make the change on the web.
