Anthony, I don't design shoes - at least, not anymore. I used to do it for fun, but my designs were rather crude.
However, I still admire shoe designs, and I'm always analyzing how they look. There really seems to be a lot of work (and creativity) involved with it.
I'd also be interested in learning how the design process works, for shoe companies.

Footwear has always been a design inspiration to me. Ever since I was little, I would sketch out gym shoes, with the latest trends in mind. Designing the shoe on paper gave me great creative pleasure.

How do you go about getting your shoes manufactured or submit them to a company? I also design shoes for my up and coming fashion brand. Do you get paid based on how many they sell or just a flat out price?
