Zip codes and data Jan17 '05
Did you know that the zip code to Zirconia, North Carolina is 28790?
The only reason I know this is because I just downloaded every zip code for the United States, for only $15.00 – with free updates for a year.
As of this date, there are 73,491 United States zip codes.
Why do I need this? Because it’s great information to have.
My full–time job does a lot of shipping, and it’s never bad to have every zip code on hand.
Another reason I decided to purchase is because I love databases, and this is a great database to interact with. The downloads come in Microsoft Access format, but I am going to convert that to MySQL, so I have some more versatility with my data.
I guess you could say I love data.
You might see some more information on this site about zip codes in the future...
