Finally considering a laptop Jan27 '05

A laptop has been on my radar for quite some time.

Until now, I haven’t had a solid reason to justify such a purchase, with a fully–loaded G4 desktop at home.

Work has given me a reason to consider. A good reason.

I know I’ve considered purchasing a Windows laptop before... but that was only for Access and Excel purposes. If I purchased a laptop now, I would need it for all my needs – which includes web development, and general "memory–hogging" media and applications – such as image rendering, illustration, music, video, etc.

The only thing powerful enough, which still allows me to "feel creative"... is a Powerbook.

And my timing could not be better.
