Cell phone blogging Feb14 '05
My last few blog posts (this one included) have been submitted on my cell phone.
With alternative internet devices flooding the wireless market, I like my options of being able to update my blog without having to find a LAN, or internet connection.
However, my current cell phone is hardly a technological breakthrough.
As with most handheld devices, the limitations are endless:
- 1 inch by 1 inch screen
- A limit of 800 characters for input forms
- irregular keypad, causing extremely slow typing
- Inability to format images, or anything other than text
- Genral lack of functionality
Despite these drawbacks, I still enjoy the occasional "cell phone post," especially while sitting in traffic.
