"Broken windshield" advertising May18 '05
Every once in a while, I appreciate good advertising.
On my drive to and from work every day, I must witness at least 50 billboards, most of them remain the same for quite some time.
Don’t get me wrong – advertising and commercials bug me just as much as the next person.
However, I have no problem with forced advertising, or just advertising in general, as long as it is done right. I appreciate the "quick fix" laugh, now and again.
One of my favorite "daily reads" is Ad Freak. This site contains funny quips about advertisments, corporations, and their effect on society.
This just in, from New York:
Mets launch broken–windshield campaign.
Without even seeing the ads (yet), I am very impressed with the general idea, behind the campaign.
