Podcasts in next iTunes version? May23 '05
Rumor has it, the next version of iTunes (4.9) will have support for podcasting.
Podcasting can be thought of as an "audio blog," where the blog author records his thoughts, and viewers download and listen to it on their computer, or portable devices.
I have been meaning to get involved with podcasts, as an alternative to all music on my iPod. Occasionally, I’d like a scatter of news on any topic I desire – technology, Apple, etc.
However, due to the lack of good documentation, I have yet to subscribe to any podcasts.
If iTunes supports podcasts in the future, I am sure it will be very easy to grasp the concepts, and start enjoying "custom radio."
