More RAM is always fun May24 '05

I got some extra RAM today, for my Mac. I bought a 512 MB chip, so I am now up to 896 MB, which is weak, compared to most systems:

Hey, that’s still pretty good, considering my Mac shipped (in August 2001) with only 128 MB!

If there’s one thing that Apple skimps on, it’s RAM.

How can they expect anyone to get things done with only 128 MB of RAM!?

Heck, I’m lucky to get things done with 896 MB. If anything, it will help out slightly with Photoshop CS. Talk about a memory hog.

I’m afraid to even check to see how much RAM Photoshop CS2 requires to run smoothly – probably 6 GB!
