Crashing iPod Jun08 '05

My iPod has been crashing a lot lately. In the middle of a song, it just re–boots itself. It’s like – BAM! – the plug is pulled.

It is rather annoying and frustrating.

Not only do I have to wait for it to restart, it also loses all of it’s settings, such as the sound that the scroll wheel makes – the "click." I usually keep the "click" off, but every time it re–boots, the click comes back. The volume is also not where I had it, and it doesn’t remember which music folder I was in, so I have to search for it again.

If this continues, I might try re–booting it every morning, or before I go to bed, because maybe it needs that.
