A special weekend for baseball Jun10 '05
It should be a very entertaining weekend, at the ballpark, as the Boston Red Sox make their first appearance (ever!) to the intersection of Clark and Addison.
The last time the Cubs and Red Sox even faced off against each other was 1918. That’s quite a gap in time.
The buzz and hysteria surrounding Wrigley Field will certainly be vibrant and intense.
Both the Red Sox and Cubs have two of the oldest ballparks in baseball: Wrigley Field and Fenway Park. Each park is known for it’s old–fashioned ambiance, historic look and feel, and the endearing crowds of fans who always fill the park to capacity.
Today’s game starts at 1 PM. Saturday at 2:15 PM, and Sunday night at 7:05 PM.
It’s sure to be a special weekend, for baseball.
