‘Yahoo Music Unlimited’ is limited Sep12 '05
I’d really like to try Yahoo Music Unlimited - but Yahoo doesn’t seem to want me to.
For one thing, you can only access the service using Internet Explorer 6. On a PC. And not on an iPod.
Am I missing something here? I use a Mac at home, and I use Firefox for browsing - on my Mac and Windows. I never use Internet Explorer - except for testing CSS development scenarios.
So... at work (where I use Windows), I’d like to try this service out - but I couldn’t possibly use Internet Explorer 6 - the God-awful browser, both security-wise, and feature-wise.
If you’re Yahoo, why would you target only PC users, utilizing Internet Explorer? And why would you shut out the millions of iPod owners?
This service looks pretty good, and I’m always open for change. iTunes is great, but I’m only using it because it’s the best service currently available. I can’t wait for when (not IF) something else comes along.
But Yahoo is shutting me out, so what can I do?
