White-board computer desk Dec10 '05
I had an ingenious idea, for a desktop made out of white-board.
A white-board, as many may know, is the successor to the chalkboard. It allows you to use felt-tip markers to write with, and a soft eraser to erase with.
White-boards are often found in corporate conference rooms, but they’ve recently become house-hold items, as well - due to the generous selection of sizes and shapes.
I’d like my physical desktop to be made out of white-board. I always like to scribble down ideas and draw diagrams, both of which help me organize my thoughts.
I am used to having white-boards in my office, on the wall near my desk - but having a desk made out of white-board would save me the step of having to get up each time. It’s almost like a notepad, but nothing physical - and the convenience of not having to walk away from my computer screen.
