GoDaddy.com clutter Dec15 '05
I went over to GoDaddy.com, this morning, to attempt to transfer an old .org domain name, but I was surprisingly shocked at how much clutter is on the site.
Just the front page itself is absolutely mind-boggling - so many options and things jumping out at you - where do I look first?
I mean, I know they have a lot to offer, but for a person visiting the site for the first time - this is just overwhelming. An attempt at organization might be helpful.
And, on a side note - somehow that picture of a woman with christmas ornaments behind here is supposed to inspire transfers of domain names?
Come on - if it’s a technical site, just let it be technical - don’t try to "flower" it up with random and unassociated photos of people smiling.
