Kinko’s: the worst customer experience Feb08 '06

This morning, the only reason I went to Kinko’s, in the first place, was because I needed to ship an international package overnight, via FedEx. So I was forced to put up with Kinko’s long-time, terrible customer service.

Every Kinko’s I’ve been to typically has just one employee working at a time, and that employee is usually very rude and abrupt - like they have no patience for anything the customer needs.

This always seems to be the case, and this morning just confirmed it.

The employees at Kinko’s always seem to hold some kind of grudge against the world, or their job - I don’t know what it is... but I always get treated like crap there.

Example - I forgot my FedEx account number - and rather than "look it up," and perhaps "perform a customer service," the very rude gentleman told me "they are not allowed to look up account numbers." He said the only option is to "call 1-800-FEDEX."

Fine. It was my fault that I forgot the damn account number.

But that’s the last time I ever go into Kinko’s. Unfortunately, FedEx is now "tied" to them, so they are getting a "bad rap" too.

Thankfully, my company does a lot of shipping, every day, so I can ship my package here at work, provided I pay for it, which is fine.
