'Mail to' link needs to go away Mar18 '06
When developing web pages, I hate using "mailto" in email address links, because my "default email program" is never the one that launches, when I click on a "mail to" link.
In fact, my "default email program" is Gmail, so I don’t even use any software (local software, that is).
So I always end up copy/pasting the email address into Gmail directly.
As more and more people stop using local software, for email needs, will the "mailto" link finally go away?
