Digital picture frames Jun18 '06
Michelle and I visited Naperville yesterday, and we had a chance to stop into Studio D - a technology store with some interesting devices/peripherals.
Studio D has a big emphasis on Apple computers and accessories, as well as cameras and photo-editing software.
I noticed some cool devices there - but specifically, I loved the digital picture frame. I’ve always wanted one of these.
For those who have never seen one: it’s just your average looking picture frame - a wood frame, perhaps painted black, or varnished really nice - and the center is not just a photograph. It’s actually a digital screen - but hardly looks like one, at first glance.
So, you can have many pictures in the frame, instead of just one.
(I always got tired of having to manually swap out photographs from my picture frames.)
With a digital picture frame, you can preload dozens of images onto it, and then watch them cycle through.
Much more appealing.
