How much did Apple pay you to write this post? What about the heat problems from the hard drive? What about the fact that there is no dedicated video memory and it probably chokes on a game or video encoding? How do you like the keyboard? Does the black plastic show smudges? Have you not yet installed Boot Camp, adjusted the partition, installed Windows, installed Call of Duty 2, and watched it crawl? Just giving you a hard time for sounding a little too excited. :) (Disclaimer for others: I own a iBook)

How much did Apple pay you to write this post?

Nothing.

What about the heat problems from the hard drive?

It gets pretty hot, for sure.

What about the fact that there is no dedicated video memory and it probably chokes on a game or video encoding?

Hmmm, haven’t had much experience with this, to date. I suppose the video memory thing is a bad thing, eh?

How do you like the keyboard?

The keyboard is kinda weird, I have to admit. When I first saw it, I was like, what the heck is this!? I’ve gotten used to it, though. Why did they deviate from the original "look" of the keyboard?

Does the black plastic show smudges?

Absolutely. I’ve since followed some advice here, for cleaning tips. The micro-fiber cloth, with a little bit of water seems to do the trick.

Have you not yet installed Boot Camp

Nope, not yet. I’d like to, though. Is there something wrong with it, on the MacBook?

... adjusted the partition, installed Windows, installed Call of Duty 2, and watched it crawl?

I haven’t done any of that yet. I wouldn’t expect Call of Duty 2 to run well, though...

Just giving you a hard time for sounding a little too excited. :)

Not a problem at all. I like other view points. How else am I to learn all there is to something?

(ahem jagoff) j/k
