FOX can die a bloody death Oct26 '07
I find FOX's Taco Bell promotion during last night's World Series game 2 to be utterly appalling. In fact, it's the final straw for me even attempting to watch a game on this pathetic excuse for a sports network.
Can FOX make this anything less about baseball, than they already have? Oh that's right. Their goal is to completely strip each sport of it's essence, and present it in their over-dramatized, under-appreciative, biased manner.
If anyone can stoop down low to all-time levels, it's FOX Sports, and their entire crew of egotistical, over-paid beefneck jerks that pretend they know how to call (or play) a game.
This is, after all, what it's all about right? Baseball? The sport? It's about the game, and not trying to cram endorsements down our throats every five seconds.
"And that pop-fly was brought to you by Orville Redenbachers popcorn...."
There is nothing wrong with a television network showing endorsements, as long as it doesn't take away from the game. And someone should tell them there's two teams playing - not one!
