My blog is not affiliated with anything Nov07 '07
Quite often random "search engine referred" readers will confuse my blog as being affiliated with the services I talk about. In the past I've received emails from irate Netflix customers, and just recently this voicemail regarding the Redbox DVD service:
Suppose this gentleman finds this post and realizes he left a message on a personal blog, which has nothing to do with Redbox. I should probably do a better job at explaining this on my contact page, because clearly someone could easily think I'm representing services I talk about.
Blogs are very transparent in this manner, but that's a topic for another day.
