Pinger - voice messages without the ringing Feb04 '08

Pinger logo

Pinger is a fantastic service for sending voice messages. Rather than individually calling a person just to leave a quick thought or message, you can Pinger them, and avoid the confrontation of a traditional phone call.

Think of Pinger as text messages for voice.

When you Pinger somebody, you record your message first, hang up, and then it immediately gets sent to the person or group of people.

When someone receives a Pinger message, they'll be notified with a text message or email containing a unique, local phone number for them to call, in order to retrieve the message.

Once they dial in, the message starts playing right away. From there, they can respond with their own voice message, or forward the message to other people.

Pinger is excellent for verbally explaining something without being restricted to a text message. Your voice lends more of a personalized touch, allowing you to truly emphasize your words.

What's great about Pinger is anybody with a mobile phone can receive and reply to messages without having to install or sign up for anything.

I highly recommend to start using Pinger today!
