Music downloads: iTunes vs. Amazon MP3 Apr05 '08
Lately my music purchases have all been originating from Amazon MP3, as opposed to iTunes. The decision between the two services is an easy one.
Most iTunes offerings still fall into this category:
- 128 kbps
- DRM
- $9.99 - $13.99
On the other hand, most Amazon MP3 offerings fall into this category:
- 256 kbps
- DRM-free
- $8.99
As you can see, the choice is an easy one.
iTunes does offer digital booklets and bonus tracks, but in most situations, I just want the album itself.
