Things that Twitter replaced or improved Apr14 '08
I was thinking about all the things I used to do that would have been perfect for Twitter, had it been invented at the time.
These are some scenarios that Twitter replaced or improved:
- Extremely concise emails such as "Hi, how are things? -Matt"
- Incremental, redundant blog posts about being somewhere or doing something inconsequential, ie: "I'm at the Field Museum. Should be a good day."
- Fudging with your wireless device in an attempt to load your entire HTML blog admin page, just to write a few sentences of a post, while on the go.
- Indirect text messages: "mmm just had pizza. It was tasty."
