Always get your SitePoint books on Amazon Nov06 '08

SitePoint books are excellent resources for enhancing your web development skills and knowledge. They're written by established, recognizable authors from various web-related fields. Whenever I need to learn a new web topic, I check SitePoint's selection first.

However, when I'm ready to buy, I always go to Amazon. SitePoint books on Amazon are almost always discounted by 20-40% the standard list price. Add free shipping and better availability to that and it's a no-brainer to use Amazon for purchasing SitePoint books.

Latest case in point is the recently released Everything You Know About CSS Is Wrong!. Not only is it temporarily out of stock, with the next availability not scheduled until December, it's also over $10 more than Amazon's price!

I wonder then... why even bother with SitePoint's storefront?
